A festive, one-day employee engagement activation in London.
Criteo partnered with iMP to deliver a one day employee engagement activation in London, designed to bring festive energy into the workplace and create a shared moment that felt fun, social and genuinely interactive. Using our promo van Lola as the centrepiece, we built a custom experience that combined interactive games, a bespoke Christmas design and seasonal treats served straight from the van.
Criteo wanted an employee engagement idea that felt different from the usual office Christmas activity. The aim was to boost morale, encourage people to mix across teams and create a talking point that staff would remember. It needed to be highly visual, easy to join and suitable for a busy workday schedule.
We transformed the rear third of Lola into a custom designed interactive Christmas present. It included a snowy floor, giant Christmas baubles and festive scents. The design was bold, Christmassy and instantly recognisable, turning the van into an eye catching focal point that drew employees over throughout the day. Visiting two major employee hubs in London in a single day, the activation was incredibly focussed and effective.
At the heart of the activation was a live employee quiz with two big buzzer buttons. Employees took part in quick fire questions, hitting the buzzer to find out if the were right or wrong. The received a verbal ‘HO-HO-HO’ for correct answers and ‘NO-NO-NO’ for incorrect answers. The format was simple, fast and playful, which helped keep participation high and made it easy for colleagues to jump in between meetings.
To add warmth and comfort to the experience, we served Baileys hot chocolate, hot chocolates, coffees and mince pies. This created a natural reason for staff to stop, chat and stay a little longer, turning the activation into a social hub rather than a quick pass through moment.
The activation created a lively focal point that pulled more than 150 employees out of the office routine and into a shared moment. The interactive game mechanic kept the energy high and the custom Christmas present design made the van feel like a purpose built experience rather than a standard vehicle setup. With festive treats served throughout the day, the event delivered a simple but effective mix of employee engagement, brand personality and office culture building.

The activation was designed for repeat drop ins rather than one long experience. The interactive quiz was quick to play, the HOHOHO or NONONO buzzer added instant feedback and the promo van created a visible focal point. Combined with hot drinks and festive food, employees had a reason to return throughout the day.
Using our promo van allowed us to create a self contained experience that felt separate from the office. The custom Christmas present design made it feel special, while the interior layout supported interactive games and hospitality. It was easy to position on site and required minimal disruption to the working day.
