Experiential food sampling roadshow for Tofoo.
Using our low-loading catering food sampling van we worked with the NPD and marketing team at Tofoo to create an immersive brand-led sampling tour across the UK. We wrapped our promo van in colour Tofoo branding, fitted it out with catering grade work surfaces and equipment and set off on a tour of city centres and food festivals.
Combining the visual appeal of a brand experience with the ‘see, try, buy’ ethos of sampling we created a nationwide tour for Tofoo. We designed and built a fully branded set which travelled with the promo van. Visiting high footfall city centres and carefully chosen food festivals we created a 7 week roadshow across the country. With more than 23,000 hot Tofoo bites sampled to consumers, January 2024 has seen a huge uplift in brand product sales.

Using portable high-capacity renewable power banks we used air-fryers to cook the Tofoo on site, inside the van. Mixing up a delicious ‘smoky-joe-rub’, we gave consumers the chance to try a healthy, organic alternative to meat. We served up the hot Tofoo in compostable, sustainable food trays. At the festivals we served Tofoo up as a wrap with homemade salsa, vegan cheese, a tangy ‘slaw and crushed tortillas… nom!!
The Tofoo team visited Welwyn Garden City to continue the sampling at Tesco head office. Situated in of the biggest sampling spaces at Tesco HQ, we distributed more than 800+ hot Tofoo samples to employees and buyers.
Taste of London is one of the biggest consumer food festivals in the country. Spread across 3 days we sampled more than 5800 festival goers. Sometimes an overlooked format for sampling, if you can make your brand stand out (which we certainly did) it’s possible to cut through the noise. With a highly visual and colourful brand set we stood out by a mile.
As well as a branded signpost, welcome stand, branded cushions and bistro sets we created a wheel of fortune. A fully inclusive zero-skill game, we gave consumers the chance to win exclusive Tofoo branded goodies as well as increasing their dwell time. Branded bucket hats, aprons, baseball caps, t-shirts, hoodies and jackets, our team were Tofoo’ed up to the max.
